Karmic Family

Have you ever found yourself sitting in the midst of your family, feeling totally alone? Maybe you've asked yourself, "Why does my sisters love feel so conditional?”, "Why is my dad so mean to me?" or "Why does my mom always tear me down?" These questions can cut deep, exposing wounds that run far beyond this lifetime.

Imagine this, in a past life, these individuals might have been your adversaries, locked in a struggle that transcends time. Fast forward to now, and these conflicts still resonate in your family dynamics. It's like being caught in a cycle of hurt, where the people who should provide love and support instead hurt you the most leaving scars that linger long after the conversation ends.

It's painful, isn't it? To yearn for acceptance, for genuine connection, only to be met with indifference or hostility from those who share your blood. They speak of love, but their actions betray the truth. It's not you they love, but the idea of you, the obligation of family ties that binds them. They love your flesh but not your spirit.

And my oh my, the weight of that obligation! The burden of being connected to people who, if not for shared ancestry blood, would pass you by without a second glance. It's a sure reminder that blood alone does not make a family. True family is shared experiences, in the mutual understanding and unconditional support that transcends mere genetics.  Forget about the notion that blood is thicker than water because it’s not.

But here's the silver lining in this shit storm amidst the pain and disillusionment, there lies an opportunity for growth. A chance to redefine what family means to you, to seek out those kindred spirits whose souls resonate with yours. These are your real family, the ones who see you, truly see you, and love you for everything that you are.

So yes, it hurts. It hurts to realize that the bonds you once thought were unbreakable are, in fact, broken pieces of sharded glass. But it's also a wake-up call, a reminder that you are worthy of love, of belonging, of a family that uplifts and supports you, unconditionally and without reservation. Who doesn't make you feel like you are a nobody when The Most High created you as somebody truly unique and special.
